I have a long history of servant leadership and driving organizations to measurably successful results. People are my top priority and are the lifeblood of every organization.
Technology is simply an ever-evolving mechanism which, when used in conjunction with well-placed values and strong supports, exposes the greatness of individuals and teams.
Enable and inspire others to reach their full potential through servant leadership and focus on the things that matter most: People, Process & Tools, In that order.
Great leaders listen and learn before they lead. They inspire others to expand their skills and opportunities, making them the most desirable resources in the market while creating a culture from which they never want to leave.
Communication is the cornerstone of successful relationships and execution. The lasting partnerships I have developed with others have been instrumental to my success.
I strike the balance between business process engineering, solution orientation and technical innovation. Finding the right balance has resulted in strong trust and business partnerships yielding high returns.
Technology can be a powerful enabler. Through the strategic adoption of a DevSecOps culture, Public Cloud Consumption, CI/CD, Everything-as-Code, Security-by-Design, Automation and Continuous Innovation, I have helped organizations transform and excel.
My record shows my commitment to sound judgment and fiscal responsibility. Strategic business planning includes alignment with organizational and corporate goals and keen focus on the bottom line.

Learn how leveraging strategic solution providers can increase your organizations opportunity to gain better value from the cloud
We are thrilled to welcome Dustin Milberg, InterVision's Field CTO of Cloud Services, for our 100th episode! Dustin and Jeff Ton, Strategic IT Advisor, launch our Cloud Journey series with an episode focused on the people and exactly why they are the foundational aspect of any organization’s shift to the cloud. The cloud is not a destination, says Dustin, but rather the journey itself is more important than the arrival. Nowhere is this idea more important than in the transformation technology professionals must undergo along the way: new roles, new titles, cultural changes, and a mindset shift. Stay tuned for additional episodes in this series focused on process and tools.
Dustin Milberg, InterVision's Field CTO of Cloud Services, and Jeff Ton, Strategic IT Advisor, are back for the second installment of our Cloud Journey series focusing on process. Dustin and Jeff approach process from the perspective of cloud being a journey rather than a destination, and as Jeff says, "nowhere is that more apparent than the impact on process."" No matter where you are at on your cloud journey, you will find actionable insights in this episode. The conversation specifically drills into: governance, portfolio management, the shared responsibility model, security and DevOps.
Dustin Milberg, Field CTO of Cloud Services, is back for the third installment of our Cloud Journey series. The first two episodes in the series revolved around people and process. This conversation with Jeff Ton is all about the tools. And as Dustin says, "If we get the people and process part right up front, the tooling should, more often than not, become pretty obvious."" Listen now as Dustin and Jeff dissect the necessary tools for each of the 6 layers of the platform: infrastructure, application, data, security, policy and pipeline.
In a 2020 survey conducted by IDG, they found that controlling cloud costs was the most common challenge keeping organizations from taking full advantage of public cloud. There is a lot of complexity, a lack of visibility and often cloud teams are too busy to keep up with the technical and operational processes required to control and reduce costs. In this episode two of InterVision's cloud experts lay out some of the fundamental ways you can work towards reducing cloud costs. Dustin Milberg, Field CTO of Cloud Services and John Gray, CTO bring you a candid conversation full of action items to help you reign things in if you are already in the cloud or plan ahead if you're not there quite yet. No matter where you are in your cloud journey, there is something in this conversation for you.
Cloud, Cloud, Cloud! It's everywhere and everyone wants to get to it. But where is it? What is it? And why does everyone want to get there so fast?
I work with customers to move to the cloud with the highest levels of quality, security, and cost-optimization. Working together with AWS Partner NetApp, InterVision is able to allow customers to consume AWS in a seamless experience whether still running on-premises or in AWS, allowing customers to modernize while protecting the quality and integrity of their data.
You likely already know that having the right tool for the job plays a critical role in whether a project succeeds or fails, but what about the benefits of having the right partners? Having the right partners in the right seats is vital for delivering the results you are looking for and achieving your organization's goals in an efficient, cost-effective, and scalable manner.
The cloud plays an integral role in how many organizations handle their daily operations, and with remote work and school becoming more prominent than ever, the demand for cloud services is only set to increase. As more business activities move to the cloud, routing and switching may seem like antiquated components for outdated solutions, but both routers and switches continue to play an integral role in the cloud.
Cloud adoption has only grown in popularity these past few years as more businesses have been looking to position themselves for greater competitiveness. Executive leaders are increasingly viewing the cloud as the answer to their business challenges and so, have been asking their IT departments to embrace cloud-first strategies to integrate greater flexibility, accessibility, and scalability into the business, both for their employees and customers.

Companies with cloud-first strategies are growing in number as the benefits of cloud have become more apparent and appetizing in the fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, simply having a cloud-first strategy doesn't guarantee success in the cloud, cost savings and increased agility. Similarly, security remains a pervasive threat if a process for mitigation is not built into the very foundation of your cloud strategy.
Technology has become increasingly ingrained in our daily lives and changed how we consume services. The need to secure that technology is paramount. In the cloud, where information is accessible from anywhere, this need is even more urgent. Cloud resiliency is the process of foreseeing possible disruptions to technology service at a business. Also, it involves planning for business continuity, as well as how the technology systems will recover with speed and without data loss.
Key decision-makers across all industries now face the reality that work will never again occur in a wholly traditional office. More than 50% of Americans work remotely(link is external), and analysts predict that number will steadily increase as more workers adopt hybrid or fully remote work patterns in the post-pandemic world. This brave new reality presents a challenge for technology leaders, especially those in the public sector: How do government agencies remedy the need for efficient, multi-cloud communications with existing on-prem solutions? And how do they do so without neglecting cybersecurity, which remains a priority for organizations handling confidential data?
As we turn another corner of the COVID-19 pandemic, many in business have realized we will never return to the normal that we knew in 2020. Remote work is here to stay, at least in a hybrid capacity. For the public sector, this is no different. Constituents now expect to be served in a variety of capacities, mobile being one.
Over the last few years in enterprise IT, the fight between on-premise software and cloud services has been dominating tech conversations. Today, many businesses realize we will never return to the in-office routine we experienced before the pandemic. As remote and hybrid work becomes the norm, constituents now expect to be communicated through various channels, including mobile.
When I am not working, I enjoy woodcrafting. Here are some of my recent projects. I can make any of them for you!
I love playing cribbage at home and on the road. I never found a great board for travel that was sturdy, attractive, functional, and incorporated the cards, board, and pegs all in one secure kit. So, I created this travel cribbage kit which can be completely customized: The board, cardbox, and leather can all be tailored to your exact wants. The cardbox has a separate bin for the cards and pegs. The case is real leather and comes with either a black, bronze, brass, or silver snap. Each kit contains a deck of cards and metal pegs. I made these kits especially for a really cool waiter and another customer who saw me playing on mine and asked where she could get one. This ended up being great Mother's Day presents.

This is a 4-Hand board I custom made for a wedding preseent for fans of the Pendelton Roundup. There is a sliding door in the top of the toe which stores the pegs. I also customized a leather strap at the top so the board can be hung on the wall.
I have made several custom boards in the shape of initials. I can make one for you too!

I have a freshman in highschool, and the Geometry teacher asked for rulers. Here is where we landed!
I have been making custom charcuterie boards for several years. These make amazing gifts!
I have several realtors who are friends and they have had me make these custom signs which are displayed inside the homes for sale. They make a memorable impression!
